Design story

ArchZen™ draws on the oldest back-comfort trick there is: tuck something supportive under the curve of your spine and let your body unclench around it. The peanut shape is the point — two soft lobes for the muscles either side of the spine, a dip in the middle for the spine itself — and the warmth and vibration simply make the pause more inviting.

Materials & details

A slim, low cushion shaped like a peanut, finished in dark charcoal-gray fabric, with two raised oval massage zones in a fine dimpled texture. A heating element and a vibration motor sit under the zones, and a small control panel with a power button and a mode button is set into one side. It is powered through its attached USB cable.

How to use

Rest the cushion on a bed, sofa or chair and lie back so it sits under the curve of your lower back — or behind your neck and shoulders if you prefer. Switch on, choose warmth and/or vibration, and settle in for a 10–15 minute session. Stay relaxed and let the shape support you rather than pressing into it. The surface becomes gently warm; if it feels too warm, place a thin layer of fabric between you and the cushion or switch the heat off. Use it awake and attended — it is a relaxation cushion, not a sleeping pillow. Not intended for use over broken or irritated skin.

Care & maintenance

Switch off and unplug before cleaning, and let it cool fully. Wipe the fabric with a soft, slightly damp cloth — do not soak, machine-wash or submerge it, and keep liquids away from the control panel. Store it flat, out of direct sun.
