Materials & details

The sheet is woven from cotton with a grid of conductive silver fiber and finished with an all-round elastic hem and a 30 cm (11.8 in) pocket depth. A connector on the sheet accepts the included grounding cord, which plugs into the earth contact of a grounded outlet — the cord touches only the earth pin position and carries no mains electricity. Color: white only.

How to use

Fit the sheet like any bottom sheet, connect the cord to the sheet, and plug the cord into a properly installed, grounded outlet. The conductive path only forms where skin touches the weave, so use it as the layer you actually lie on — an arm, a leg or your back in contact — rather than under another sheet. Use it every night or just some nights; there is nothing to switch on. Check the cord now and then and stop using it if it is damaged. Not intended for use over broken or irritated skin.

Care & maintenance

Machine-wash warm with a mild liquid detergent. Skip bleach, fabric softener and whitening additives — they can coat or corrode the silver fibers — and line-dry or tumble-dry low. Wash it regularly: skin oils and lotion build-up insulate the weave over time. Avoid ironing directly over the silver grid.

Frequently asked questions

How does the grounding connection actually work?

The silver fibers form a conductive grid through the cotton. The included cord connects that grid to the earth contact of a grounded outlet — the earth pin position only, never the live slots — giving the sheet a continuous path to the ground outside your building. No electricity is fed into the sheet.

Do I sleep directly on it?

Yes. The sheet goes on top of your mattress (over any protector) as the layer you touch. Conductivity needs skin contact, so fabric between you and the weave — pajamas, a top sheet — insulates wherever it covers.

What if I am not sure my outlet is grounded?

Use an outlet you know is properly grounded. Inexpensive socket testers exist, and when in doubt an electrician can confirm it in minutes. Either way, the sheet remains a perfectly good cotton fitted sheet.
