Design story

HydraZen™ draws on the fine-mist finale of Korean and spa facial menus — the moment the aesthetician sweeps a pressurised mist wand over your face and the whole session settles. We wanted that gesture available on an ordinary weeknight, sized for a bathroom shelf rather than a salon suite.

Materials & details

The body is a glossy moulded plastic shell in deep purple with a chrome-finish angled spray head and a built-in water tank behind a clear viewing window. A pair of small metal contact pads is built into the body — a secondary mode that produces a faint micro-vibration where it touches skin; we consider it a side feature, and the mist the reason this device exists. A white supplier colourway exists, but we stock the purple.

How to use

Fill the tank with clean water — distilled is kindest to the spray head — then hold the device a few centimetres from your skin and sweep slowly across the face, keeping the head moving. A full pass takes three to five minutes and sits most naturally at the end of an evening routine, after cleansing. Keep the mist away from your eyes, and wipe the head dry afterwards. Not intended for use over broken or irritated skin.

Care & maintenance

Empty the tank after use and let it air-dry open. If the spray weakens, run a tank of distilled water through the device to clear the head. Wipe the body and the contact pads with a soft, dry cloth. Never submerge the device or leave liquid standing in the tank for days.

Frequently asked questions

When should I use it in my routine?

It works most naturally as a closing step: cleanse, apply your usual products, then finish with a slow misting pass of three to five minutes. Some people also like a quick morning sweep before moisturiser.

What can I put in the tank?

Clean water — ideally distilled or purified. Avoid oils and thick essences; they can block the fine spray head. If you want to try a watery toner, check its label first and rinse the tank with distilled water afterwards.

How is this different from a spray bottle?

Pressure and droplet size. A pump bottle throws out visible drops; HydraZen™ uses a pressurised air stream to produce a much finer mist that settles evenly instead of running.

What is the contact-pad mode?

Two small metal pads on the body can emit a gentle micro-vibration you feel as a faint tingle. It is an optional extra, off by default — if you are curious, try it briefly on the back of your hand first, and skip it entirely if you use a pacemaker or other implant.
