Design story

Materials & details

The shell is smooth matte plastic with a brushed silver mid band; the kneading arms end in rounded tips that glide rather than pull. Inside are a small motor driving the claw clusters, red LEDs and a built-in rechargeable battery. It is designed for dry use, so use it on dry hair only and keep it away from water.

How to use

Start on dry hair. Rest the heads against the crown and let them work in place for ten to twenty seconds, then lift and reposition — temples, hairline, the base of the skull. Lifting between spots keeps longer hair from winding around the arms. Five to ten minutes is a full session; many people fold it into their evening wind-down or use it just before a hair wash. Do not look directly into the LEDs. Not intended for use over broken or irritated skin.

Care & maintenance

Free any caught hairs from the kneading arms after each session. Wipe the shell and heads with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry straight away — do not rinse or submerge the device. Store it somewhere dry.
