Design story

WrapZen™ draws on two small domestic comforts: the shawl you reach for when the evening cools, and the barber's warm towel laid across the shoulders. Both work because they arrive where your day collects. We chose a wrap that combines them and adds shiatsu-style circles — an everyday object that turns out to have hands.

Materials & details

The wrap is a soft fabric shawl with a rotating-node kneading mechanism and heating element inside the collar, driven by a 26 W motor and powered by a built-in rechargeable battery. The supplier also makes a 20 W tier and a brown colourway; we stock the 26 W version in White and Grey.

How to use

Drape the wrap over your shoulders, switch it on, and control how firmly the nodes work by how much you lean back into them or let the shawl rest forward. Around fifteen minutes is a natural session — after the commute, between meetings, before bed — with the warmth on or off as the weather dictates. Use it seated or standing still, never while driving. Keep a thin layer between skin and wrap if you are sensitive to warmth, and switch the heat off if it ever feels too strong. Not intended for use over broken or irritated skin.

Care & maintenance

Spot-clean the fabric with a damp cloth and mild soap, and let it dry fully before use or charging. Do not machine-wash, soak or iron the wrap. Store it flat or loosely folded, and give the battery a top-up charge every couple of months if it sits unused.
